Following a recent survey across the School Sport Partnership network of students who are considered to have a disability several were identified and invited to attend an Aquasplash event at Halstead Pool. 14 students were given the opportunity to work in small groups along with local swimming teachers to gain greater confidence in the water. Some of the activies incorporated in to the session focused on skills from syncronised swimming, water polo and diving. Competition Manager Jo Davey thanked the development officer from the Amateur Swimming Association for her support with the event which was the first of it’s kind to be held in Essex.
